Five fingers may be better than three, but three is enough to type with. I'm back! :D

Ниче, три - это уже прогресс! :bigkiss:

Yep, definitely progress! I now have a renewed appreciation of the Rivers of Babylon psalm ("let my right hand forget its cunning" :D).

Glad to see you back, my dear! :-)

Thanks for the support, guys. :) My hand is still numb, but eh, I can type! Let's not forget the important things in life. :D

Ah yes the important things...

Like sending myself blind looking up North & South fanfic when at the very least I should be coming up with some more perversity for my own stab at fic.

Like patrolling the U2 fansites seeing exactly how crushed and demoralised I am going to be all by myself in the GA standing crowd at the Sydney concert when all my friends are going to be together in the stands. With seats.

Oh, and of course, mentally composing the storyboard for the (eventual) film of Solo.:D

Apparently I'm meant to be looking for a job. Yeah.

So how has the T-word coped with the injury delay?

09.12.2005 в 00:33

Tango
Ah, so you have graduated? Are you officially a lawyer now? :D

The T-word will have to be written, but I have not yet made efforts in that direction beyond what was done before. The bigger problem is that I can't finish the work I needed to do for the last chapter, because working with radioactive isotopes when things fall out of my hands doesn't strike me as a clever idea. So we'll see what happens there.

How's the job search going?
09.12.2005 в 06:07

Uh, heh, no sadly the world will be in no danger of my providing legal services for a few more months yet - 3 more units to go! (Providing, that is, I ever actually pass Commercial Law. Which I think is doubtful at best. I would be happy to have a qualified/restricted practicing licence invented just for me, just so I would NEVER have to attempt that heinous course again)

Ix-ne on the ob-je earch-se. It's too depressing.

Well, I know a dude at UTS who builds robots, he could rig up a remote control arm or something for you! that way you can blame the machine if anything disasterous and fall-out-ish occurs. Of course you'll have to die a self-sacrificing and heroic death saving some innocent bystander from your Evil Substitute Arm, but I think that's a fair price to get oneself over the PhD finish line, no?

O-K I clearly need to devote my resources towards something a little more profitable.........

Ah, I see. Well, I won't mention it if you don't mention the T-word. Perhaps they will both simply disappear if we will them away, oui? :D
